*Job Description*

We are seeking a purpose-driven Graphic Designer VA who excels at visual communication and design. You'll create impactful and strategic visuals that showcase our unique brand of schools, helping our marketing team connect with parents and the wider community.

*Detailed Responsibilities*

Your daily responsibilities would include:
- Design print marketing material such as flyers, posters, banners, invitations, booklets for key school events and prepare files for print-production.
- Design digital assets such as banners, icons, thumbnails, image posts and optimise digital files for email campaigns, web applications and social media.
- Create layouts and templates such as Word, PowerPoint and Canva.
- Design according to brand guidelines, respecting the constraints of our colour palette, typography, imagery and logo use.

*Basic Skills*

Newbies are welcome, but you do need to have excellent English skills. It’s also important that you know how to use the applications listed below.

- Very familiar with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva
- Very familiar with Gmail and Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Calendar
- Familiar with Microsoft 360 Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Meta Business
- Familiar with EDM platforms such as MailChimp, Active Campaign, Campaign Monitor or similar
- Web research using search engines like Google
- Project management tools like Monday, Asana or similar
- Time tracking software like Toggle

*Desired Technical Skills and Experience*
- While not required, the following skills are a bonus:
- Experience with podcast promotion
- Experience with web design, basic html, CSS skills
- Experience working with schools or educational organisations

*Work Schedule and Holidays*
- This is a part-time position: starting at 12 hours p/week

Work hours are weekdays, flexible.

*Salary*
Approx $8-10 AUD commensurate with experience (Approx $400 AUD/15,500 Peso)

Once you complete your 6-month probation, you will get:
