Graphic Designer / Content & Marketing Assistant for Podcasting Agency

Seeking a creative, versatile, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Content & Marketing Assistant to join team. This role blends compelling visual design with engaging copywriting to support our podcasting agency and clients. If you excel at both creating eye-catching graphics and crafting persuasive, polished text, and embrace modern tools, this role is for you! You’ll work closely with the founder, focusing primarily on design and writing, with light marketing/admin support.

Who We're Looking For (Is This You?):

The right person for this role will be/have:

- Proven ability in both graphic design (strong portfolio essential) and copywriting (writing samples required).
- Meticulous about design quality, consistency, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. You sweat the small stuff!
- You naturally spot errors and ensure all content is polished and professional before it goes out.
- A self-starter who can manage their own workload, anticipate needs, and take initiative.
- Highly Organized: Able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficient with design software and comfortable ethically leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney) to enhance creativity and efficiency.
- Has a fast and reliable internet connection and suitable remote work setup.
- (Bonus) A genuine interest in podcasting or digital content creation.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

Graphic Design (Major Focus):
- Design stunning visuals for podcast covers, blog posts, emails, course materials, social media (posts, stories, ads), and website elements.
- Develop templates (e.g., audiograms, social graphics).
- Maintain strict brand consistency for our agency and clients.

Copywriting (Major Focus):
- Write clear, engaging copy for social media, email campaigns, newsletters, blog posts, show notes, ads, and marketing materials.
- Edit and meticulously proofread all copy to ensure it's error-free and aligns with brand voice.

Quality & Support (Minor Focus):
- Ensure final outputs (both graphics and copy) meet high-quality standards and are error-free.
- Assist with social media scheduling/posting and light admin tasks (file organization, tracking).
- Support marketing campaign execution and perform light research.


Required Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience via a strong Graphic Design Portfolio.
- Demonstrable experience via Copywriting Samples.
- Proficiency in Graphic Design Software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Canva). Specify your primary tools.
- Experience using or willingness to learn AI tools ethically in a professional context.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).

Bonus Points:
- Basic video editing skills.
- Familiarity with podcasting or audio/video content.
- Experience with Email Marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, ConvertKit).
- Experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Later).
- Basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Specific experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, etc.
