JOB OVERVIEW

General Job Description:

Work with the Adventure Life Content Manager and fully-remote team of world travelers to complete a series of robust digital travel guides, used to grow marketing email lists and attract like-minded travelers as new Adventure Life customers.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Utilize existing design templates to create visually-appealing guides according to current Adventure Life product and destination offerings
- Collaborate with the Content Manager, marketing staff, and Trip Planner team to incorporate prepared copy into guide visuals
- Prepare multiple project revisions based on feedback from the Content Manager and Adventure Life staff
- Other design projects may be requested with remuneration negotiated on a per project basis

Required Skills and Experience:

- Design software proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to engage in creative collaboration in a remote working environment
- Strong understanding of design principles and ability to create consistent visual brand identity
- Independent work ethic and ability to meet communicated deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

- A bachelor’s degree or certification in graphic design or related field
- 2+ years of relevant design experience
- Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop proficiency preferred
- Travel industry knowledge or experience a plus

This is a project-based role scheduled by the Content Manager with some collaboration expected during Adventure Life business hours of 7AM-7PM Mountain Standard Time Monday through Friday (flexible schedule is possible due to nature of role). This position is fully remote.
