Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Grant Writer to help MBody Organics secure funding for its growth and development. In this role, you will focus on identifying and applying for grants specifically for small businesses, new businesses, Black-owned businesses, and/or woman-owned businesses. You will be responsible for writing compelling grant proposals that align with our mission and goals, helping to fund initiatives that support our brand's growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Grant Research and Identification:

Research and identify relevant grants for small businesses, new businesses, Black-owned businesses, and/or woman-owned businesses.

Stay up-to-date with available funding opportunities, ensuring they align with MBody Organics’ objectives and vision.
Grant Writing:

Write clear, compelling, and customized grant proposals that align with the funders' goals and our business objectives.

Prepare all required documentation and ensure proposals are submitted on time and in compliance with grant guidelines.

Communicate MBody Organics' mission, products, and goals effectively in each application.

Proposal Management and Reporting:
Track and manage the progress of submitted grants, ensuring deadlines are met.
Provide regular reports on grant application statuses and success rates.
Maintain accurate records of grants applied for, awarded, and pending.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience in writing grant proposals for small businesses, new businesses, Black-owned businesses, and/or woman-owned businesses.

Successful track record of securing grants for similar organizations.

Skills:
Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and persuasive manner.
Strong research skills to identify and evaluate funding opportunities.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Professional Attributes:
Passion for supporting small businesses, woman-owned businesses, and Black-owned businesses.
Strong understanding of the needs of early-stage businesses and how to position them for funding success.
Ability to work collaboratively with MBody Organics’ team to gather necessary information for applications.
Language Proficiency:

Highly proficient in reading and writing in English.
