JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring a highly technical tracking specialist to fix revenue reporting discrepancies between Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and e-commerce websites.

You must have hands-on experience installing, debugging, and validating tracking tags and revenue events, not just campaign setup.

What You’ll Do:
Investigate and fix problems when ad platforms (Google/Facebook) show the wrong revenue compared to the real sales reported in the website's dashboard.

Install and troubleshoot tracking tags (Google Tags, Facebook Pixel, and Facebook Conversions API) using Google Tag Manager and/or custom code.

Ensure tracking works across Shopify, and occasionally WordPress, Squarespace, XCART, or custom-coded websites (must know how to install GA4 tags outside of Shopify apps).

Audit attribution and correct tracking errors that cause major revenue mismatches.

Validate results with screenshots and revenue comparisons between the site and the ad platform.

Real Examples You’ll Work On:
A website shows $500 in real sales, but Google Ads or Facebook shows $0.
? You’ll audit the platform, Tag Manager, and the store, identify the error, and fix it.

Google Ads reports $800 in sales, but the site only shows $500.
? You’ll investigate misattribution, incorrect triggers, duplicated conversions, or improper setup.

Requirements (Must-Have):
Proven experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)

Hands-on experience setting up and debugging Facebook Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI)

Ability to install Google and Meta tracking tags manually, especially on non-Shopify platforms

Strong understanding of revenue attribution and how events are passed from front-end to ad platforms

Ability to show proof of tracking accuracy fixes (we will ask for examples or test your skills)

Bonus Skills (Highly Preferred):
Experience with Shopify, XCART, WordPress, or custom HTML websites

Experience fixing broken or duplicated revenue reporting

Familiarity with server-side tagging or CAPI via GTM or direct code

Ability to work across multiple platforms and CMS environments

First Task (Paid Trial):
We will give you a test project. If you can demonstrate that you can fix a real tracking issue and show accurate results, we will continue with more paid work immediately.

Apply If You Are:
Detail-oriented and confident troubleshooting advanced tracking problems

Comfortable editing code or using GTM to fix e-commerce tracking

Not just an Ads Manager user—but someone who makes sure tracking works correctly at the root level
