Job Title: Google Ads Specialist – Search Campaigns (Lead Generation)
Company Overview:?We are a growing digital marketing agency specializing in lead generation campaigns for local businesses. We are seeking a highly skilled Google Ads Specialist with at least 5 years of experience managing and optimizing Google Search Campaigns. The ideal candidate will be proactive, results-driven, and able to manage multiple client campaigns while maintaining exceptional performance and client satisfaction.
Role Overview:?As a Google Ads Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up, managing, and optimizing Google Search Ads campaigns for up to 25 local business clients. Your primary focus will be on lead generation while maintaining budget efficiency and improving campaign performance week over week. You will provide ongoing communication, detailed reporting, and actionable insights to clients to ensure their campaigns are performing at their best.
This position starts part-time and has the opportunity to transition into full-time as you grow into the role. You are expected to work during our business hours (10 AM - 5 PM CST).
Responsibilities:
1. Campaign Management & Setup:
* Set up and launch new Google Search campaigns tailored to lead generation goals for local businesses.
* Continuously optimize and manage existing campaigns to achieve maximum ROI.
2. Weekly Optimizations:
* Perform ongoing optimizations including:
* Split testing ad creatives and headlines.
* Improving CTR (Click-Through Rates) and Quality Scores.
* Managing keywords (adding relevant keywords and removing negatives).
* Optimizing bid strategies and audience targeting.
* Address and resolve any campaign issues swiftly.
3. Client Reporting & Communication:
* Track leads, conversions, and key performance metrics for all campaigns.
* Provide clients with weekly reports on campaign performance, insights, and areas for improvement.
* Proactively reach out to clients via
* Check in on campaign satisfaction and gather feedback.
* Offer actionable insights and suggestions to improve campaigns (e.g., increasing budgets, adjusting targeting, or testing new strategies).
* Respond professionally and promptly to client inquiries with solutions to campaign-related concerns.
4. Performance Improvement:
* Focus on continuous performance improvement by applying Google Ads best practices.
* Ensure campaigns meet budget goals while driving high-quality leads and conversions.
* Identify underperforming campaigns and implement data-backed strategies to turn them around.
5. Campaign Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
* Monitor daily performance metrics, identify trends, and troubleshoot any issues.
* Implement fixes or optimizations for poor-performing campaigns.
6. Budget Management:
* Ensure campaigns adhere to the allocated weekly and monthly budgets.
* Recommend budget increases or adjustments based on campaign performance and client goals.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience specifically managing Google Ads Search Campaigns for lead generation.
* Proven expertise in setting up, optimizing, and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
* In-depth understanding of Google Ads tools, best practices, and strategies for local business campaigns.
* Strong knowledge of lead tracking, conversion optimization, and performance reporting.
* Ability to analyze campaign data and translate findings into actionable improvements.
* Exceptional client communication skills with a professional and solution-oriented approach.
* Experience with Google Ads optimizations such as:
* Split testing ads.
* Improving Quality Scores.
* Managing keywords (positive and negative).
* Optimizing bidding strategies.
* Proficiency in Google Analytics and lead/conversion tracking tools is a plus.

Hours & Compensation:
