Glazing Draftsperson

About Us:

We are a growing company specializing in high-end glazing supply and installation, catering to modern single-family homes on the West Coast of North America. We are looking for an experienced Glazing Draftsperson to support our growth and successfully enhance our market presence.

Position : Glazing Draftsperson


***Key Responsibilities***

- Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and designs for glass and aluminum systems (e.g., windows, doors, and facades)
- Review project specifications and collaborate with architects and engineers to develop accurate designs.
- Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Revise drawings based on feedback and project modifications.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software to create drawings.
- Provide technical support to the production team during the fabrication and installation processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure correct materials are used.
- Stay updated with industry trends, innovations, and materials.


***Requirements and Qualifications***

- A minimum of 5 years of drafting experience in the glass and aluminum industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of glass and aluminum systems, including structural and fabrication aspects.
- Excellent understanding of relevant building codes, safety standards, and material properties.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Time Zone Compatibility : Ability to work on or close to PST (Pacific Standard Time)
