We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Assistant to help authors with their writing, publishing and marketing tasks. This role involves a variety of duties, including research, content creation, marketing, and administrative support. The ideal candidate should be passionate about books and well-organized, with strong communication skills.
Possible tasks:
Research: Conduct market research, gather information on competition, publishers, agents, book ideas, and character details.
Manuscript Support: Beta-read, edit, provide feedback, and format manuscripts.
Marketing: Create content, manage social media, handle outreach and lead generation.
Newsletters: Create and send newsletter campaigns.
Street Team: Build and manage promotional teams/followers.
Public Relations: Coordinate public appearances and engagements.
Website: Update and maintain the author’s website.
Administrative Tasks: Manage
Great to Have:
Passion for reading or books.
Customer service experience.
Availability during US hours.
Knowledge of social media management (SMM).
Familiarity with technical tools like Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Canva, ChatGPT, and Mailer lite.
