General Ledger and Excel Specialist

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented General Ledger Specialist with advanced Excel skills to join our team. This role requires someone who can think critically and problem-solve, particularly when working with complex general ledger (GL) mapping for U.S. payroll data across various accounting platforms.

Responsibilities:

Perform advanced GL mapping of U.S. payroll transactions for QuickBooks and other accounting software

Analyze and transform payroll data for accurate imports and reporting

Manage data migration from different payroll systems

Conduct bookkeeping and bank reconciliations

Assist with administrative tasks related to accounting and payroll


Requirements:

Strong accounting knowledge and experience (US payroll accounting experience a plus)

Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, data analysis, etc.)

Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and automation tools

Sharp, analytical thinker who can identify patterns and optimize financial data structures

Self-motivated and able to take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision


Work Setup:

Fully remote position

Flexible working hours, with availability for collaboration as needed
