The Role
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with a proven track record of building successful applications and integrating AI technologies. This is a unique opportunity to shape the architecture and development of a platform that will transform how young people interact online.

What You'll Do
- Lead the development of both front-end and back-end components using modern web technologies
- Design and implement AI-powered features for content moderation and user safety
- Create intuitive, responsive user interfaces that engage and delight our users
- Design and maintain robust database architectures that scale
- Implement comprehensive security measures to protect our young user base
- Integrate and optimize third-party services and APIs
- Work closely with our product and design teams to bring features to life
- Champion code quality through thorough documentation and regular code reviews
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment

Technical Skills Required
Core Technologies
- Frontend: Deep expertise in React.js and Next.js
- Backend: Strong proficiency with Node.js and Express.js
- Database: Experience with MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL
- DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes
- Version Control: Git
- Cloud: AWS or Google Cloud Platform experience

Essential Experience
- Proven experience building and deploying production-ready applications
- Strong background in AI/ML integration and implementation
- Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and API architecture
- Familiarity with modern AI services and platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Google Cloud AI)
- Experience with real-time communication protocols
- Understanding of AI ethics and responsible implementation

Development Practices
- Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with test-driven development
- Proven track record of implementing CI/CD processes
- Collaborative approach to code reviews and pair programming

What We're Looking For
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
- 5+ years of full stack development experience
- At least 2 successful applications built and deployed to production
- Demonstrated experience with AI integration in production environments
- Strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable code
- Experience building scalable applications from scratch
- Security-first mindset and experience with implementing safety measures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
