We’re rebuilding our core platform to be faster, smarter, and AI-assisted, and we’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to lead the charge.

Your Mission
Own the technical implementation of a next-generation Faculti website, transforming it into a fast, scalable platform that:

Seamlessly delivers academic video interviews

Integrates with AI summarization and keyword-tagging tools

Connects to a research-rich API backend

Supports personalized learning pathways for users and institutions

Key Responsibilities
Lead development of a high-performance, SEO-optimized frontend (Next.js or similar)

Rebuild backend services (Node.js / FastAPI / Laravel) to:

Power real-time AI summaries and content enrichment

Integrate APIs: Vimeo, OpenAI, Google Sheets, Semantic Scholar, Zoom

Manage user accounts, video access, and billing

Optimize Core Web Vitals (TTFB, LCP, CLS) for content-heavy post pages

Build internal dashboards (Zoom attendance, prep sheets, scheduling)

Document internal APIs and support AI-powered tutoring tools

Be available to troubleshoot urgent bugs or technical blockers

Flexible On-Call Retainer (Optional)
We offer a paid weekly retainer for rapid-response support:

$10/hour minimum for on-call availability (bug fixes, emergencies)

Paid per actual hours used or structured as a fixed weekly retainer (2–4 hours)

Option to apply the same rate on a per-project micro-scope if more efficient

This ensures both sides stay efficient: you’re compensated, and we get stability.

Tech Stack (Preferred)
Frontend: React / Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Vite, HTML5/CSS3

Backend: Node.js, Python (FastAPI), MySQL / PostgreSQL

Infra/DevOps: Vercel, AWS, Render, Docker, GitHub Actions

API Experience: Vimeo, OpenAI, Semantic Scholar, Zoom, Google Sheets

Bonus: Redis, FAISS/Weaviate, WP-to-React migration experience

Ideal Candidate
3–5+ years of experience shipping full-stack products

Strong debugging skills and obsessive about performance

Independent and accountable—able to ship fast without supervision

Comfortable working in an async, founder-led startup

Passionate about education, academic integrity, and user-centric design
