Full-Time Video Animator/Editor

YEA is an accountancy and eCommerce-focused firm looking to expand our video content production. We cover topics such as finance, business insights, and related educational material. Our aim is to present professional yet engaging videos that incorporate clear storytelling, concise data visualisation, and polished editing.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Advanced Animator/Editor to join our team on a full-time basis. You will create short-form and long-form video content, focusing on professional-quality visuals, story-driven editing, and the ability to animate data (charts, comparisons, graphs, and other finance-related statistics).

Key Deliverables

Long-Form Videos (2 per week)
Each approximately 5–10 minutes.

Short-Form Videos (5–10 per week)
Each between 15–60 seconds.

Membership Area Videos (1 per week)
2–30 minutes.

Data Visualisation & Animation: Proficiency in turning data into engaging charts, graphs, or motion graphics.

Transitions & Engagement: Strong sense of pacing, effective transitions, and the ability to maintain viewer interest.

Storytelling: Ability to structure content logically and cohesively with a clear narrative flow.

Professional Tone: Our viewers expect insightful, polished content with minimal gimmicks.

Software Skills: Strong After Effects & Premiere Pro Skills for advanced motion graphics.

Communication: Good level of English for seamless collaboration (we use Microsoft Teams/shared folders/Frame.io).

Test Brief (Unpaid)

To ensure we find the right fit, we’d like to see a short demonstration of your skills, please note we will not accept your portfolios.

Raw Footage
We’ll provide footage from two cameras, each with its own audio track for easy syncing.

Editing Style Inspiration
We’ll share a reference video that highlights the data-focused and professional tone we expect.
Final Output

You can create a short excerpt (2–3 minutes) or a longer version, depending on how you’d like to showcase your skills.

Deadline
Please submit by 5th February (within 8 days).

As this test is unpaid, we do not expect a fully polished product, just enough to show your ability to handle multicam syncing, data animations, transitions, and a coherent narrative.
