*The Role*
We’re looking for a talented Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Developer to join our small, remote team. This is a long-term opportunity to work on a profitable SaaS business with flexible hours and a growing team.
The ideal candidate is not only an experienced Rails developer but also an AI enthusiast. You’ll work on everything from the backend (Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis) to modern front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, and others), implementing new features, refining the UI/UX, and integrating with AI frameworks to deliver smarter solutions for our customers.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Develop, test, and maintain features using Ruby on Rails.
- Modernize the frontend using UI frameworks
- Collaborate on AI-powered features, such as smart search and content automation.
- Improve UI/UX to increase trial-to-paid conversions and enhance user experience.
- Optimize the application for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to shaping the technical roadmap based on business goals.
*Requirements*
- 2+ years of experience developing production-level Ruby on Rails applications.
- Proficiency in front-end development, including experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind, or other frameworks.
- Passion for AI, with experience integrating AI frameworks or tools into applications.
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Ability to work independently and proactively suggest improvements.
*Nice to Have*
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and database optimization.
- Experience with SaaS development and scaling.
- Knowledge of implementing TDD, analytics, A/B testing, feature flagging, or SEO best practices.
- Interest in knowledge base or help desk software.
