Frontend Engineer

Ultra Labs is a U.S.-based business incubator/accelerator that focuses on software/tech-based businesses. We are currently seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions in a variety of sectors.

As a Frontend Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our web applications, specializing in creating engaging and responsive user interfaces.

What You’ll Do:
- Build scalable and efficient frontends using Next.js (React, TypeScript)
- Integrate headless CMS (Sanity, Payload) for content management
- Connect data and APIs from backend-as-a-service platforms (Supabase)
- Collaborate with designers on Figma for user-friendly interfaces
- Write clean, maintainable code with an eye on performance
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues
- Stay up to date on the latest frontend dev trends

What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years of experience building frontend apps (React, Next.js, TypeScript)
- Comfort working with CMS integrations (Sanity, Payload)
- Familiarity with backend integration, including Supabase
- Solid understanding of state management (Redux or similar)
- Experience with testing frameworks and writing unit tests
- Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility best practices
- Proficiency with Git and build tools (Webpack, npm)
- Great communication skills in English
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Receptive to feedback and open to collaboration
