Mid Level Front End Wordpress Developer Wanted

Particular Angles is looking for 2 self motivated individuals to join our team as a Front End Developer.

Responsibilities will include:

- Creating the UI: Designing the user interface and user experience of a website or application;
- Building the front end: Building the front end of a website using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP;
- Implementing new features: Implementing new features and functionality;
- Ensuring that a website or application is responsive and appears and behaves as it should across all devices;
- Collaborating with designers and back-end developers to ensure that the front-end elements of a project are seamless and visually appealing;
- Monitoring the performance of the live websites they create to ensure that a website rarely faces downtime;
- Being attentive to ensure that their work is accurate;
- Maintaining the CMS for optimal performance;
- Working with the back-end and website architecture;
- Managing the cost to develop a WordPress website;
- Generating WordPress themes and plugins;
- Conducting performance tests and troubleshooting issues;
- Updating website content, graphics, and design when needed;
- Maintaining a high level of security and ensuring legal compliance;
- Implementing SEO best practices for better search engine ranking.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Core Front-End Technologies:
HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Responsive Design:
Ability to create responsive designs using CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS) and media queries.

Version Control:
Proficient in Git for version control and collaboration (GitHub, GitLab).

JavaScript Build Tools & Task Runners:
Experience with Webpack, Babel, npm, Yarn, or Gulp.

Cross-Browser Compatibility:
Ability to ensure consistent styling and functionality across various browsers.

RESTful APIs and AJAX:
Ability to consume RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous requests.

Basic Knowledge of Backend Development:
Understanding of back-end languages like Node.js, or integration with backend services like APIs.

Testing & Debugging:
Experience with front-end testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine.
Strong debugging skills using browser development tools.

Experience

2-4 years of hands-on experience in front-end development, working on web applications or consumer-facing platforms.
Project portfolio showcasing contributions to both team and solo projects, with examples of UI/UX-focused designs.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and stand-up meetings.

Soft Skills

Problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about user experience and interface design.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders.
Adaptability and eagerness to learn new frameworks and tools as the front-end landscape evolves.
Team collaboration skills with the ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to group projects.

Preferred Degrees

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field:
Computer Science
Software Engineering
Information Technology
Web Development
Graphic Design (with a focus on web design)
