JOB OVERVIEW

We are a nimble family office with a hands-on approach to managing and overseeing our investments. Our primary focus is on Commercial Real Estate (CRE), with holdings concentrated in a single state. We operate without outside partners and utilize limited leverage, ensuring strong control over our assets.

As our portfolio has grown, we recognize the need to enhance our investment management strategies, financial analytics, and technology integration to optimize returns and improve visibility across our holdings.

What We’re Looking For:
Someone with background in finance, investment analysis, or portfolio management (family office, real estate, private equity, or related fields preferred).
Strong understanding of CRE financials (NOI, cash flow, ROI, cap rates, etc.).
Experience with investment management of liquid assets (cash, bonds, equities).
Ability to implement technology solutions to improve portfolio visibility and analysis.
Highly analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Experience working in a small, hands-on team environment.

Areas to improve:
Underutilized Cash Reserves: Cash equivalents have steadily increased, but limited investment management has resulted in low returns and an inability to accurately calculate the true ROI of these holdings.

Lack of Portfolio-Wide Visibility: Limited use of technology has hindered the ability to view the entire portfolio from a global perspective, affecting a comprehensive understanding of its overall value and performance.

Insufficient Data-Driven Analysis: A lack of advanced analytical tools has restricted the ability to assess property holdings beyond traditional budgeting metrics, such as annual NOI, limiting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
Phase I
Management Structure of Liquid Holdings (cash equivalents, bonds and equities)
-Consolidation of liquid holdings while maintaining some diversity in custodians.
-Improved matrix and calculations of true return on investment of liquid holdings.

CRE portfolio
-Improved aggregate analysis of holdings
-Revenue, expenses, NOI
-Improved cash flow analysis of aggregate holdings
-Improved ROI and various metrics for CRE individually and combined

Improved operational flow with internal team with expense management

Phase II
Consideration with tax strategies for portfolio
