Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Flooring Bid Estimator to assist in preparing accurate and competitive bids based on digital plans. This role requires a deep understanding of flooring materials, installation costs, and measurement techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring estimation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with digital blueprints. This is a contract position on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret digital flooring plans to extract accurate measurements and quantities.
Prepare detailed and precise bids for LVP, hardwood, carpet, and tile projects.
Utilize Floorzap software to generate and manage flooring quotes.
Ensure bids are competitive and aligned with project specifications.
Collaborate with stakeholders as needed to refine project estimates.

Deliverables:
Accurate and detailed flooring bid proposals tailored to project needs.
Precise scaled measurements and takeoffs from digital flooring plans.
Organized and structured pricing estimates using Floorzap.
Timely submission of bids based on project deadlines.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in flooring bidding and estimation (with references).
Strong ability to scale and gather measurements from digital flooring plans.
High attention to detail and accuracy in estimating flooring materials and installation costs.
Experience with Floorzap or similar flooring estimating software is a plus.
Extensive knowledge of flooring materials, pricing, and industry standards.
