About the Role
CloudCA is looking for a Financial Controller / Business Analyst to oversee client financial reporting, operational analysis, and budgeting. This role focuses on delivering data-driven insights that drive profitability and efficiency for CloudCA’s key clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to improve processes, ensure financial accuracy, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis
Develop financial models for strategic decision-making
Conduct profitability analysis and identify margin improvement areas
Perform cash flow forecasting to enhance financial stability
Support tax planning strategies for compliance and efficiency

Management Reporting & Data Insights
Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts
Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budgeted performance)
Implement real-time dashboard reporting (Xero, Google Sheets, GAccon, LookerStudio)
Present financial insights during client meetings

Process Improvement & Compliance
Ensure data accuracy and financial integrity across client entities
Automate financial reporting processes for efficiency
Strengthen financial controls for tax and accounting compliance
Optimize inventory reconciliation, cost allocation, and bookkeeping oversight

Who We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications & Experience
CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification
4+ years of experience in financial analysis, management accounting, or controllership
Strong knowledge of Xero, financial modeling, and data analysis
Ability to translate complex financial data into business insights
Experience in multi-entity reporting and forecasting
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience
Experience in franchise, hospitality, retail, or service industries
Knowledge of multi-currency transactions and international tax compliance
Familiarity with performance-based incentive systems (e.g., profit-sharing models)
Exposure to automation tools (Xtracta, Dext, Gmail Filters, Loom, Deliverect, Zapier)

Software & Tools You'll Use
Accounting: Xero (Xero Advisor Certification preferred)
Data Analytics: Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, INDEX-MATCH), Excel
Project Management: Asana, Toggl
Inventory Management: Marketman, Shopify
