We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst/Accountant with a strong background in real estate finance to join our team and drive our asset management objectives.


Job Description:


As a Financial Analyst/Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic oversight of our real estate portfolio. This includes leading the development of consolidated financial reporting, ensuring uniforUpgrade to see actual infotrics, and holding both in-house and third-party property management teams accountable. Your responsibilities will also involve supporting refinancing efforts, financing cash-purchased assets, integrating tax planning strategies, and preparing investor reports to keep stakeholders informed.


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Management: Oversee the financial health of the real estate portfolio by developing and maintaining financial models, conducting cash flow analysis, and preparing detailed budgets.

Consolidated Financial Reporting: Lead the creation and management of consolidated financial reports, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all properties, whether managed in-house or by third parties.

Uniform Accountability: Establish and enforce uniforUpgrade to see actual infotrics and accountability standards for both in-house and third-party property management teams, ensuring all assets are managed to the highest standard.

Strategic Refinancing and Financing: Collaborate with the asset management team to analyze and execute refinancing strategies, such as transitioning assets to non-recourse loans or securing financing for cash-purchased properties, with the goal of optimizing capital efficiency and supporting long-term growth.

Tax Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with the CPA and the asset management team to incorporate tax planning strategies into the financial management of the portfolio, ensuring compliance and maximizing tax efficiencies.

Performance Monitoring: Analyze the financial performance of all assets, providing insights and recommendations to enhance value and optimize returns across the portfolio.

Investor Reporting: Prepare regular investor reports, detailing financial performance, asset management activities, and strategic initiatives to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.

Reporting and Compliance: Produce regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring all activities comply with U.S. GAAP and relevant regulations.

Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with property managers, bookkeepers, and CPAs to ensure consistent and effective financial management across the portfolio.


Requirements:


Proven experience in financial analysis and accounting within the real estate sector, with a strong focus on portfolio management.

Experience with Buildium property management software or similar platforms.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks is required.

Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and U.S. GAAP.

Proficiency in accounting and bookkeeping practices.

Strong background in both residential and commercial property management.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Project, Teams, and Outlook.

Ability to manage financial activities and enforce accountability across both in-house and third-party managed properties.

Experience in preparing investor reports and managing stakeholder communications.

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Based in the Philippines with a reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace for remote work.


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with U.S. real estate finance, particularly in non-recourse loans and cash-to-finance strategies.

Expertise in asset management principles, especially in the context of managing a diverse portfolio with multiple management structures.

Background in overseeing the financial aspects of multi-tenant properties and integrating tax strategies into real estate investments.

Familiarity with the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework and experience participating in L10 meetings is a plus.
