Financial Analyst / Accountant

Busy CPA firm seeking a high-level accountant to assist in reviewing our bookkeeper's work and creating budgets and budget to actual reports. Prepare financial reports for clients who want more than the basic financial statements. Train bookkeepers to recognize problem transactions and problem balances so they are brought to the attention of management and the clients. Prepare a written summary of the company's quarterly financial results and meet with clients to go over budgets, financial statements, and metrics.

The ideal client will have a CPA and/or a CMA license. Have worked for other accounting firms or mid-sized businesses doing the same work. Can provide samples of some of the reports they have prepared. Is familiar with Quickbooks desktop (pro and essential), Quickbooks online, US payroll processing, US tax forms (reading and understanding), and Quickbooks integration. Has assisted businesses with strategic planning.

Understanding of US tax laws a plus but not required. Fast learner and great english speaking skills is a must.
