Skyward Sparks is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst/Accountant to support our growing financial consulting practice. This is a remote, month-to-month contract position with an opportunity for long-term collaboration. We are specifically looking for professionals who have expertise in financial analysis, bookkeeping, forecasting, and reporting.
???? About the Role:
As a Financial Analyst/Accountant, you will work closely with our team to support financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making for our clients. The role requires a strong understanding of financial modeling, cash flow analysis, accounting principles, and financial planning.
???? Key Responsibilities:
• Perform financial analysis and reporting for clients.
• Assist in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial data management.
• Develop cash flow forecasts, budgeting reports, and financial projections.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and profitability assessments.
• Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure accuracy in financial statements and maintain organized records.
???? Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
? Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
? Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling tools/visualizers , formulas, and forecasting.
? Experience using accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
? Knowledge of GAAP / IFRS and strong understanding of financial reporting.
? Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
? Experience with U.S. accounting standards is a plus.
