Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting our fractional CFO services by conducting valuations, building extensive budget models, and forecasting cash flows for multiple clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, expertise in financial modeling, and the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously. This role requires a deep understanding of financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis for various client projects.
• Valuation: Conduct business valuations using various methods (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions) to support strategic decision-making for clients.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Create and manage detailed budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with clients’ strategic goals and financial health.
• Cash Flow Forecasting: Analyze and forecast cash flows to help clients manage liquidity, plan for capital expenditures, and optimize working capital.
• Client Engagement: Work directly with fractional CFOs to understand client needs and deliver insights that drive financial strategy and decision-making.
• Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for clients.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key insights and performance metrics.
• Project Management: Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial analyses and reports.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure a thorough understanding of financial goals and to provide support in financial planning and analysis activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CFA, CPA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling, preferably within a consulting, fractional CFO, or financial advisory environment.
• Proficiency in financial modeling software and tools (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks, financial forecasting software).
• Strong understanding of valuation techniques, including DCF, market multiples, and other standard valuation methodologies.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
