Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Virtual Assistant to assist with financial tasks, including tax preparation, budget management, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has experience managing budgets, preparing financial documents, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management: Track income and expenses, manage cash flow, and create financial reports.
• Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial goals, and provide recommendations for cost-saving strategies.
• Tax Preparation: Assist with preparing financial documents for tax filing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and coordinating with tax professionals.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile bank statements, and manage invoices and payments.
• Financial Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide insights into financial performance.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process payments, track outstanding invoices, and ensure timely collections.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain financial records in accordance with legal and company requirements.
• Expense Tracking: Categorize and track expenses to optimize financial planning and decision-making.
• Payroll Support (if applicable): Assist in processing payroll, tracking employee payments, and ensuring tax deductions are accurate.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience in Financial Management: Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, budgeting, or financial analysis.
• Tax Preparation Knowledge: Familiarity with tax filing processes, deductions, and compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in Financial Software: Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, or similar accounting tools.
• Budgeting & Expense Management: Ability to create and manage budgets effectively.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with high accuracy in financial records.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-financial tea
• Confidentiality: High level of discretion in handling sensitive financial data.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with startups or small businesses.
• Knowledge of financial compliance for LLCs and small businesses.
• Experience in payroll management.
• CPA certification or equivalent (a plus but not required).
