Gbemi is a fast-growing fashion eCommerce brand dedicated to delivering fashion forward, high-quality pieces with an exceptional shopping experience. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused eCommerce Operations Assistant to support our day-to-day operations and ensure our customers receive outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Support:
Respond to customer inquiries via
Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.
Handle order issues, including missing, damaged, or delayed items, ensuring swift resolutions.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers with sizing, materials, and styling advice.
Monitor customer reviews and feedback, escalating concerns as needed.
Inventory Management:
Coordinate with warehouses and logistics teams to resolve shipping issues.
Monitor stock levels and flag low inventory or out-of-stock items.
eCommerce Platform & Admin Support:
Update product listings, descriptions, and pricing on the website.
Assist in quality-checking website content, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Support with uploading customer service FAQs and help-centre content.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
Track customer service metrics (response times, resolution rates, etc.) to improve performance.
Identify trends in customer concerns and suggest improvements to enhance the shopping experience.
Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams based on customer insights.
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service, eCommerce, or fashion retail preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in eCommerce platforms (Shopify)
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for fashion and an understanding of current trends is a plus!
