Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable developer to build a smaller version of an AI-powered pattern completion app. This project is a proof of concept to evaluate your abilities for potential future work on a larger-scale version.
The app must dynamically generate numeric puzzles using AI (e.g., GPT-4 or Claude API), include a clean and responsive user interface, and render mathematical notation accurately using LaTeX (MathJax or KaTeX). It is crucial that the app is delivered flawlessly, meeting all specified requirements.

• No payment will be made until the app is completed to perfection. This is non-negotiable.

Project Scope:
The smaller app will include:
1. Dynamic Puzzle Generation:
o Numeric puzzles only.
o Two difficulty levels: Easy and Medium.
o AI-generated puzzles with four multiple-choice options (one correct answer, three distractors).
2. User Interface:
o Minimalist design with a menu for difficulty selection and puzzle screens.
o LaTeX rendering for mathematical notation.
3. User Feedback:
o Immediate feedback for correct/incorrect answers.
4. Testing and Optimization:
o Comprehensive functional testing to ensure logical accuracy and flawless integration.

Milestones and Deliverables:
1. Backend Development (40–50 hours):
o Implement AI-powered puzzle generation using GPT-4, Claude API, or equivalent.
o Develop API endpoints for puzzle generation:

2. Frontend Development (40–50 hours):
o Build a responsive and minimalist user interface.
o Integrate LaTeX rendering via MathJax or KaTeX.

3. Functional Testing (20–30 hours):
o Validate logical correctness of puzzles and multiple-choice options.
o Ensure UI responsiveness and proper rendering of LaTeX.
4. Optimization and Bug Fixing (15–25 hours):
o Optimize backend performance and reduce latency.
o Resolve UI/UX issues identified during testing.
5. Final Review and Handover (10–15 hours):
