Experienced Commercial Insurance Customer Service

Commercial Insurance Customer Service Assistant. Work with commercial insurance clients and agency account managers in the property and casualty field.

This position requires prior commercial insurance customer service work in a property & casualty agency.

Handle client data downloads, standard service requests such as issuing certificates of insurance, processing client changes as directed by the account manager and sending client communications for changes, renewals and cancellations. Completing Acord applications specific to commercial clients, completing quotes with carriers and providing to the account manager, taking requests and changes from clients and communicating those with the account manager. Working through daily suspense items and tasks. Assisting with phone calls into the agency.

Desired experience is with the agency management system Hawksoft, but experience with some insurance agency management system is required. Other software used by the agency includes AgencyZoom, LightSpeed, Outlook, Adobe, Wunderite, LossRunPro, Teams, Slack, DONNA by Aureus, and Microsoft suite programs.

Hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday in CST in the USA. It will be important to your success that you be very comfortable speaking, reading and writing English. Time on the phone with clients is part of the position.

Compensation will be based upon experience specific to the commercial property and casualty customer service field specially how long of prior experience and how knowledgeable of various commercial insurance tasks and responsibilities you are experienced in. Compensation range is between $6.00 per hour (at least 2 years commercial insurance experience at one agency) and up to $10.00 per hour for extensive commercial experience.

A dedicated computer system with at least 2 monitors is needed as well as a quiet private space to work. You would join a team of 4 other VAs in the agency (3 from the Philippines and one from Latin America). Most likely you would become assigned to one agency commercial account manager and would have the majority of your work with one dedicated account manager.
