Experienced Ad Script Writer / Copywriter for Viral eCommerce Video Creatives

We’re AfroScrub — a fast-growing eCommerce brand selling African Exfoliating Net Sponges that have taken over social media with millions of views and viral-level engagement.

We’re looking for an experienced script writer/copywriter to craft high-converting ad scripts for our video creatives. If you're obsessed with hooks, know how to agitate a problem, and can tap into emotional and cultural triggers that stop scrolls, spark discussion, and make people pull out their wallet instantly, we want you on our team.

You’ll be:

Writing direct-response style ad scripts (30–90 sec) using our 6-part structure (Hook, Lead, Agitate, Compare, Solution, CTA)

Repurposing winning scripts into new viral angles (controversy, testimonials, storytelling, ethical sourcing, etc.)

Doing deep customer research (Reddit, TikTok, comments, ChatGPT, etc.) to uncover gold nuggets

Collaborating with video editors and UGC creators to bring your scripts to life

Tracking ad performance and continuously iterating
