Job Advertisement: Virtual Assistant Estimator

Location: Remote (Perth, WA)
Hours: Part Time (4 hours per day Monday to Friday)

We are seeking a Virtual Assistant Estimator (commercial building) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects under AUD $2million
Analyse project drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
Complete Take Off and Calculate quantities of materials
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and quotes.
Assist in the preparation of tender submissions.
Maintain and update project documentation and cost databases.
Collaborate with the project management team via Microsoft Teams to ensure alignment on project budgets and timelines.

Software You’ll Use:

BuildXact – Experience essential
Microsoft Teams – Microsoft Office Suite
Monday - Task Management

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry (commercial experience preferred).
Strong proficiency in BuildXact and Microsoft Teams.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Able to build recipies and catalogue price lists
