Electronics Engineers (Multiple Roles)

We are Ohmni, an Australian company specialising in power electronics, embedded systems, and industrial control solutions. Whilst our primary projects are as a consultancy, Ohmni are looking into entering the product market. We are seeking a skilled Electronics Design Engineers to assist with PCB design, firmware development, and system integration for cutting-edge energy storage and industrial automation projects.

Responsibilities:
Design schematics and PCB layouts using Altium, KiCad, or equivalent software
Develop and test firmware for microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, or similar)
Perform power electronics simulations and circuit analysis
Optimise designs for manufacturability, reliability, and EMI compliance
Daily collaboration with our engineering team to meet technical and project requirements
Technical assistance to our Australian team for other consultancy type work


Requirements:
Strong experience in PCB design and embedded systems
Proficiency in C/C++ for microcontroller programming
Familiarity with power electronics, DC-DC converters, motor drives (preferred)
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality designs on time
Experience with regulatory standards (CE, FCC, UL) is a plus
