JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description:
As the E-Commerce Manager, you’ll own and manage our Shopify store’s day-to-day operations, ensuring a high-performing website, driving traffic, increasing conversions, and improving customer retention. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, data analysis, and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Website & User Experience Optimization
Manage, optimize, and update our Shopify store to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Improve site speed, navigation, and mobile friendliness to enhance conversions.
Implement A/B tests to optimize product pages, checkout flows, and call-to-action elements.
Work with designers/developers to enhance UI/UX and fix bugs or performance issues.

2. Product & Inventory Management
Optimize product listings, descriptions, and SEO to maximize discoverability.
Ensure product pages include high-quality images, videos, and compelling copy.
Collaborate with suppliers/warehouses to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
Manage and execute bundling, upselling, and pricing strategies to increase AOV (Average Order Value).

3. Marketing & Customer Acquisition
Oversee and optimize paid ads
Develop and execute email & SMS marketing campaigns (abandoned cart, post-purchase, loyalty programs).
Work with influencers and leverage User-Generated Content (UGC) for brand credibility.
Monitor and improve SEO rankings through content marketing and technical SEO.
Develop retargeting and referral marketing strategies to improve customer acquisition.

4. Conversion Optimization & Retention
Track and analyze key e-commerce KPIs: CAC, AOV, LTV, ROAS, and conversion rates.
Implement customer engagement strategies, including live chat, chatbots, and personalized offers.
Optimize email flows, customer loyalty programs, and subscription models.
A/B test landing pages, promotions, and checkout experiences.

5. Operations & Customer Support
Work with fulfillment partners, 3PLs, or Shopify Fulfillment Network for timely deliveries.
Monitor and manage return rates and improve the returns/refund process.
Collaborate with the customer support team to enhance response times and resolution efficiency.

Position Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM NY time
Location: Remote, Using TimeDoctor
Salary: $800/month
