**Job Posting: Dump Truck Business Development & Government Contracts Specialist**

### **Job Overview:**
We are looking for an experienced and highly knowledgeable **Business Development & Government Contracts Specialist** to help establish and grow our **dump truck business**. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing **government contracts, navigating federal and state procurement processes, and expanding business opportunities in the trucking/construction industry**.

### **Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute a **business growth strategy** for securing **profitable contracts** (government and private sector).
- Research and identify **government bidding opportunities** at the **local, state, and federal levels**.
- Complete and submit **RFQs, RFPs, and bids** to secure long-term contracts.
- Navigate **government registration processes** (Upgrade to see actual info, DBE, MBE, HUB, etc.).
- Establish partnerships and relationships with **general contractors, government agencies, and subcontractors**.
- Assist with **DOT compliance, permits, and certifications** needed for contract eligibility.
- Implement strategies for **fleet expansion, maximizing revenue, and cost efficiency**.

### **Requirements & Qualifications:**
- **Proven experience** in **government contracting, business development, or trucking logistics**.
- Strong knowledge of **federal, state, and municipal bidding processes**.
- Experience working with **government procurement portals (e.g., Upgrade to see actual info, local DOT sites, etc.)**.
- Familiarity with **disadvantaged business certifications (DBE, MBE, WBE, etc.)** and how to leverage them for contracts.
- Strong **networking skills** within the trucking, construction, and procurement industries.
- Ability to **analyze contracts** and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Excellent **negotiation, communication, and proposal-writing** skills.

### **Preferred Qualifications:**
- **Existing connections** with government agencies and construction contractors.
- Experience working in the **dump truck, logistics, or construction industry**.
- Understanding of **funding options** for fleet expansion and operational scaling.
