About the Position
Job Responsibilities:
1. Plan, schedule, and dispatch drayage operations to ensure timely pickup and delivery of containers
2. Ensure timely delivery while optimizing routes and maintaining compliance with industry regulations (USA setting)
3. Communicate effectively with drivers, port authorities, warehouses, and customers
4. Monitor container movements and update status in the dispatch system in real time
5. Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
6. Resolve operational issues, including delays, equipment shortages, and driver concerns
7. Track and manage detention, demurrage, and other charges to minimize costs
8. Provide accurate and timely reports on operations and performance metrics
Qualifications:
1. With direct experience in drayage (container) truck dispatching
2. Strong knowledge of port operations, drayage logistics, and transportation regulations (USA setting)
3. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
4. Proficient in the English language
5. Proficient in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite
6. Self-managed team player
7. Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends, if needed
Work Arrangement:
1. Remote set-up
2. Monday to Friday (6:00-15:00 PST or 9:00-18:00 PST)

Flexible Salary Options:
1. Starting base pay of $1,200 - $1,800 per month or a competitive commission structure based on the business you generate
