Draftsperson (SolidWorks)

We are a leading manufacturer of architectural door hardware products, delivering high-quality, custom-designed solutions to our customers. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and detail-orientated Draftsperson to support our production team by preparing accurate production drawings. As a Draftsperson, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining precise technical drawings based on customer and sales team requirements. Your primary focus will be drafting product designs for manufacturing, ensuring they meet specifications and production constraints. Additionally, you will play a key role in reviewing, organizing, and updating our design files.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
- Monthly Salary: $1350 USD
- 13th Month Pay
- $500 Yearly Tech Allowance

SCHEDULE:
8:30 AM - 5:00 PM AEDT MON-FRI

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks for custom door hardware components and products.
- Translate customer and sales rep requests into clear and manufacturable technical drawings
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs meet material and manufacturing constraints.
- Review and update existing product drawings to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a well-structured drawing directory, ensuring files are categorized and easily accessible.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings before final approval for production.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory)
- Background in Drafting, Engineering, and or related technical field
- Experience in technical drawings, preferably in manufacturing or architectural hardware
- Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into functional designs
- Excellent organizational skills to manage and maintain efficient drawings directory
- Ability to review and update existing product drawings with precision
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams
- Creativity and initiative to propose innovative solutions and improvements
- Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines
