Draftsman

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented draftsman to support our team in producing high-quality shop drawings for cabinetry, architectural millwork, and specialty woodwork projects. This role is responsible for translating architectural plans and field measurements into production-ready drawings that guide our fabrication and installation teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create detailed and accurate shop drawings based on architectural plans, design intent, and project specifications
• Draft cabinetry, millwork, and specialty woodwork for a range of commercial environments
• Deliver PDF drawing sets suitable for submittals and coordination
• Generate MPR (machine-readable production) outputs for CNC machining and manufacturing
• Optimize cut sheets for maximum material yield and minimal waste
• Produce detailed material takeoffs to support timely and accurate ordering
• Communicate proactively with our project team to clarify requirements, resolve discrepancies, and ensure deliverables align with our standards
• Meet deadlines consistently, with an expected volume of approximately 2 projects per week ranging from a few cabinets to 100+ units per job

Qualifications:
• Strong experience in cabinetry and millwork drafting, including shop drawing creation and material optimization
• Proficiency in your drafting platform of choice (we are system-agnostic, as long as you can provide required outputs)
• Ability to provide PDF outputs and MPR files compatible with CNC workflows
• Experience with cut optimization software and material takeoff processes
• Familiarity with architectural and construction documents, joinery methods, and hardware integration
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently
