JOB OVERVIEW

We are Retain Media, a fully remote digital media agency. We specialize within the auto category with a focus on manufacturers and dealers. Our core industries are caravans, motorbikes, trucks, trailers, marine, and construction.

We have an exciting opportunity for a paid media coordinator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work with the paid social lead and ads manager and will be part of our paid social team.

While specializing in paid social, you will have the opportunity to be exposed to and work with our specialist teams, including our Sales team, SEO, Paid Search, Graphics and Copywriting.

This role is ideal for someone at the start of their marketing career journey. You will be supported in your onboarding and development, and training will be offered so you can be confident in doing your job well.

Responsibilities:
Build ads and campaigns in Ads Manager (Facebook, Pinterest, etc.)
Monitor campaign and creative performance of live accounts
Assist with troubleshooting campaigns
Learn and apply optimisation strategies
Liaise with the sales manager/coordinator on upcoming work
End-of-month reporting
Competitive monitoring and research
Learn about client nuances and the wider industry
Stay abreast of key platform and industry products
Gain an understanding of internal processes and procedures
Assist in workflow management within the paid social team
Assist with the implementation of A/B testing
Become competent with back-end ads manager tools
Learn new platforms and channels as we expand our product mix
Assist with client and market research for new and existing clients

Who would be a great fit:
This role is ideal for someone who is new to or near new to the industry (up to 12 months' experience).

Essential skills and experience:
Strong communication skills, written and oral - we are a fully remote business, so success relies on strong communication within the team
Works well in a team environment
Strong attention to detail
MUST be able to interpret numbers and data
Proactive, can-do attitude
Moderate proficiency in Google Office Suite (Docs, Slides, Drive, etc.)
Moderate to expert proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel
Time and task management i.e. completing tasks in a timely manner, understanding how to prioritize work
Appetite to initiate learning and development plan


Desirable skills and experience:

Previous marketing experience is desirable but not essential
Previous experience using ads manager platforms is advantageous
A diploma or degree equivalent in marketing, media, or business is advantageous
Prior knowledge of our core markets
