DevOps Engineer with AWS Experience for growing SaaS company

Generally, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer with AWS experience, and I have a full job description PDF that I can send you with more details. But we are a young and growing company, and as such, there will be many additional projects that will likely be part of your responsibilities.

Generally, that will be things like researching the right kind of solution to deploy for various needs of the company. For example, the onboarding platform we've used for years is no longer an option after our switch from Salesforce to HubSpot, and we need to find a new platform.

In addition to researching and choosing the right kind of platform for our needs, you would also be responsible for learning the platform, working with other people in our company to figure out the priorities, and then successfully implement the solution.

Don't worry, the senior management here have grown and helped sell various companies over the last couple decades - we're experienced people who are old enough to understand the right kind of time investment that it will take for somebody like you to do that kind of research, and then choose the right product and spend time getting up to speed on it. You won't be expected to do a full-time job and then also have a bunch of other priorities expected of you!

You'll be supported by people who have done these kinds of things for many years, and understand the challenges and realities of it. We just have too many other things going on to do these tasks as part of our main responsibilities, and want to grow the team with a smart, hungry person like yourself.

As one other example, the company will definitely need to be SOC2 certified in the near future. That's a large undertaking, and we would want to research different services/provider that could help you with that, and then of course there will be tons of things to do to actually be able to achieve certification. But for the right kind of person, that's actually a fun challenge and a huge sense of accomplishment. (And likely a nice monetary bonus to you as well once achieved.) :-)
