About the Role:
This isn’t a “follow orders” position – it’s a pivotal role where you’ll own our infrastructure and deployment processes. As our DevOps Engineer, you’ll work directly with our development teams and have open access to Jonathan Green to drive our systems to the next level. Expect to roll up your sleeves, take initiative, and transform how we build and maintain our digital playground.

What You’ll Work On:
• AWS Infrastructure Management: Provision, scale, and optimize our cloud resources.
• Infrastructure as Code: Implement and manage robust infrastructure using Terraform and Helm.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Streamline our workflows with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Gitlab, etc.) to automate deployments.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Develop and enforce resilient strategies to protect our systems and data.
• System Monitoring & Optimization: Ensure high availability and peak performance across our infrastructure.

What You Bring to the Table:
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a hands-on DevOps role.
• Mandatory Skills: Proficiency in AWS, Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, Docker, and pipeline tools (Bitbucket, Gitlab, etc.).
• Resilience: Deep understanding of backup and disaster recovery practices.
• Nice to Have: Experience with NodeJS, Pulumi, Python, CI/CD best practices, and MySQL.
• Mindset: A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a passion for innovation and automation.
