DevOps Engineer

Job Title: Devops Engineer
Working set-up: Remote

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the tools and infrastructure needed to support our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Automate the provisioning and deployment of infrastructure components.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated software delivery.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes.
Containerization and Orchestration:
Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker to package applications and services.
Orchestrate and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes or similar tools.
Monitoring and Logging:
Implement monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of systems.
Set up and maintain centralized logging systems for effective troubleshooting.
Security and Compliance:
Implement security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to foster a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility.
Provide support and troubleshooting for production issues.
Infrastructure Optimization:
Identify and implement strategies for optimizing infrastructure costs.
Conduct regular reviews of infrastructure components for efficiency and performance

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.
