An Auckland Digital Agency is seeking an experienced full-stack web developer to join our rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building full-stack landing pages and websites that meet and exceed our client’s expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in website development and be passionate about delivering high-quality work.

Please note: Candidates will be invited to complete a web development trial task or assessment as part of the application process. This task is an important step in evaluating your skills and suitability for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Ability to build on most common CMS such as WordPress, Shopify and other similar platforms
Expertise in optimising websites for Google Lighthouse page speed
Be a self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while providing exceptional websites in quick turnaround time frames.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch new website features.
Ensure high performance and responsiveness of websites.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Test and debug websites to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to developing coding standards and best practices.
Work with the design team to ensure the website is user-friendly and visually appealing, with CRO in mind.
When required, meet with clients to discuss their requirements and provide advice on the best approach for their website or application.




Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of proven Agency experience in WordPress website development
Expertise in Liquid, HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Strong experience with server-side programming languages such as PHP, Python, or Node.js is preferable
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
Experience with databases such as MySQL
Familiarity with website development tools such as WordPress and Shopify
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passionate about delivering high-quality work and meeting client requirements
