What we are looking for:

We are looking for a data-driven professional who can turn complex data into clear insights to support business decision-making. The role will also include manual data handling and creating workflows to help automate the process. The ideal candidate is skilled in analysing, modelling, and visualising data, with a strong ability to build reports and interpret business metrics. They will have experience optimising processes, managing product data, and using automation tools to drive efficiency across the business. This role requires someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a variety of technologies to deliver impactful results.

Qualifications:

Required skills:
Google Sheets (including scripts)
Microsoft Excel (including VBAs and Macros)
Data Handling (Collection, Cleaning, Modelling)
Business Metrics Interpretation
Python
Data Analytics and Statistical Tools (e.g., Google Analytics, R, SAS)
Data Visualisation Tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio)
APIs and Automation Tools (e.g., Zapier, Power Automate)
10 years of related work experience

What your day to day would look like:

Gather and compile data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other data collection systems.
Data entry, encoding and manual data processing
Clean, organise, and validate data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate findings to team members.
Automate routine data-related tasks such as data entry, report generation, and data updates using tools like Excel macros, Python scripts, or other automation tools.
Work closely with other team members to support data entry and ad-hoc tasks.
Invoice / inventory uploads (ARMS, Lightspeed POS)
POS systems support (ARMS, Lightspeed POS)
Google sheets metrics and report creation (including scripts)
Excel metrics and report creation
Shopify data handling
Metrics and data analysis

Working hours:

Part time initially, moving to full time hours after the training period has concluded- must be able to work across AEST business hours. This is a permanent work from home position
