Data Engineer | Audit & Optimize Data Flow for Marketing Agency Client B Verticals

Details

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to conduct an audit of our data flow processes and pipelines, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements independently. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background in Python, PHP, AWS (EC2, RDS), and MySQL, with expertise in automation. Start project based but could lead to Part-Time or Full-Time.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python and PHP for data processing and automation.
Strong experience with MySQL, including query optimization and database management.
Expertise in AWS, particularly EC2 and RDS.
Solid understanding of data pipelines and how to optimize them.
Knowledge of the digital marketing industry and related data workflows.
Familiarity with Go High Level CRM is a plus.
Ability to work independently and provide actionable recommendations.

Scope of work

Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing data flow processes.
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and potential improvements.
Optimize MySQL databases and queries for better performance.
Implement enhancements and optimizations in data pipelines.
Automate key processes where applicable.

Project proposals

Conduct and document audit and optimization process on data flow processes for the Live Events client branch.
Conduct and document audit and optimization process on data flow processes for Live Events reported marketing spend.
Conduct and document audit and optimization process on data flow processes for the Capital Raising client branch.
Develop and conduct audit and maintenance process for AWS servers and database instances related to data and reporting processes.
