JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to manage and analyze sales data across our Amazon marketplaces and contribute to forecasting and data visualization efforts. This role involves downloading and organizing sales reports, maintaining and updating forecast templates, and creating actionable visualizations using tools like Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, familiarity with Amazon data, and the ability to support programming or API integrations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Data Extraction and Management
Download sales reports and other performance data from Amazon Seller Central on a regular basis.
Upload and maintain sales data in pre-existing forecast templates to assist in inventory planning and business decision-making.
Ensure data accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies as needed.
Data Analysis and Insights
Analyze sales trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
Provide actionable insights based on sales and forecast data to support business operations and strategic decisions.
Data Visualization
Create dashboards and reports in Power BI or similar tools to present key metrics and trends in an easily digestible format.
Develop and maintain visualizations for inventory, sales, and performance data, ensuring they align with business needs.
Programming and Automation (Optional)
Assist with developing or improving scripts and tools to automate data extraction and reporting processes.
Support integration efforts with Amazon's API for enhanced data management and reporting capabilities.
Collaboration and Support
Work closely with the inventory team to ensure sales data aligns with forecast requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure data visualizations and reports are tailored to meet operational needs.
Provide support for ad hoc data requests and analysis tasks as needed.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or related roles.
Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools is required.
Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis.
Programming skills (e.g., Python, R, or SQL) are a plus.
Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central reporting and understanding of Amazon's API is a bonus.
