Our IT infrastructure is critical to our operations, and we are seeking a Cyber and IT Security Manager to oversee our IT systems, implement robust cybersecurity policies, and ensure the security and efficiency of our technology landscape.

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Cyber and IT Manager to take ownership of our IT infrastructure, oversee systems and processes, provide technical support, and lead the implementation of cybersecurity policies. A key part of this role will be guiding the organization toward achieving ISO 27001 certification, ensuring compliance with international security standards. The ideal candidate will have experience leading organizations through the ISO 27001 process, from gap analysis to certification.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Systems Management
• Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, availability, and security.
• Manage network systems, cloud services, servers, workstations, and mobile devices.
• Implement best practices for IT asset management, software updates, and system backups.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Work closely with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure smooth IT operations.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management
• Develop, implement, and enforce cybersecurity policies, including access controls, data protection, and iUpgrade to see actual info response procedures.
• Monitor for security threats, conduct risk assessments, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
• Oversee endpoint protection, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests.
• Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Lead iUpgrade to see actual info response efforts in case of a cyber breach, coordinating with leadership and external experts as needed.

Employee Systems Support & IT Training
• Provide hands-on IT support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding of employees with proper IT setup and security access.
• Train employees on IT security best practices, phishing awareness, and proper system use.
• Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related questions and technical assistance.

Strategic IT Planning & Project Management
• Develop and execute IT strategies that align with business objectives and growth plans.
• Research and implement emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and security.
• Work with leadership to plan IT budgets and recommend cost-effective technology solutions.
• Lead IT infrastructure upgrade projects and migrations as needed.

ISO 27001 Certification & Compliance
• Develop and execute a roadmap for achieving ISO 27001 certification, including gap analysis, risk assessments, and implementation of necessary controls.
• Lead the organization through the ISO 27001 certification process, ensuring compliance with all required security controls and documentation standards.
• Manage and maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring continuous compliance and improvements.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate certification and surveillance audits.
• Train employees on ISO 27001 principles and ensure organization-wide adherence to security policies.
• Monitor and update security policies and procedures to maintain certification and adapt to evolving security threats.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT management, cybersecurity, or systems administration, preferably in a small-to-medium-sized organization.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud computing (AWS, Google Cloud), and IT infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, endpoint security, VPNs, and threat detection tools.
• Ability to manage and troubleshoot Google Workspace, and SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or CIS Controls.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CCSP).
• Experience working with a remote or hybrid workforce.
• Background in scripting, automation, or cybersecurity threat hunting.
