We are seeking a Credit Repair Specialist with expertise in advanced dispute strategies, including handling complex cases such as evictions, bankruptcies, repossessions, and more. Our ideal candidate is results-driven, detail-oriented, and skilled in achieving quick and effective outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities
As a Credit Repair Specialist at EquiFix, you will:
Dispute Resolutions: Handle a variety of disputes, including but not limited to evictions, bankruptcies, repossessions, late payments, charge-offs, medical collections, unauthorized inquiries, and inaccurate personal information.
Advanced Dispute Methods: Employ advanced credit repair techniques, including credit sweeps, data breach methods, and rapid rescoring strategies.
Software Proficiency: Utilize DisputeFox software to manage client accounts, track disputes, and streamline processes.
Letter Writing: Draft effective dispute letters for Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs), creditors, and collection agencies.
Agency Complaints: File and manage complaints with the FTC, CFPB, and BBB to escalate disputes as needed.
Business Funding Support: (Preferred) Assist clients with business funding applications, document preparation, and creditworthiness evaluations.
Client Interaction: Communicate regularly and professionally with clients to update them on their progress and next steps.
Compliance: Stay updated on federal and state credit reporting laws (e.g., FCRA, FDCPA) and ensure all practices are legally compliant.
Requirements
Experience: Proven experience in credit repair, including handling complex disputes such as evictions, repossessions, and bankruptcies.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of credit repair laws (e.g., FCRA, FDCPA), Metro 2 compliance, and credit reporting standards.
Software Proficiency: Experience using DisputeFox or similar credit repair software.
Advanced Techniques: Familiarity with credit repair methods such as data breach disputes, credit sweeps, and rapid rescoring.
Strong Writing Skills: Ability to craft compelling dispute letters and agency complaints.
Attention to Detail: Ability to analyze credit reports thoroughly, identify inaccuracies, and develop tailored dispute strategies.
Speed & Efficiency: Proven ability to deliver quick and effective results for clients.
Customer Focus: Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
Preferred: Experience in business funding, credit underwriting, or financial consulting.
Additional Requirements
Familiarity with advanced credit repair techniques, including the data breach method for dispute resolutions.
Ability to provide documented success stories or examples of resolved disputes.
A strong understanding of consumer protection laws and legal strategies to challenge inaccurate reporting.
Skills in tracking and managing multiple client cases efficiently through credit repair software.
