Position: Credit Repair Specialist
Location: Remote
Reports to: Credit Repair Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Repair Specialist to join our team. The specialist will work directly with clients to improve their credit profiles and ensure they understand their rights and options throughout the credit repair process. The ideal candidate will be familiar with credit repair tools, such as Credit Repair Cloud, and have knowledge of industry regulations, including the CFPB, BBB, FCRA, LexisNexis, and how to manage credit data on third-party sites like Sage Screen and Innovus.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation and Credit Analysis:

Review and analyze clients’ credit reports from all three bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion, Experian).
Identify negative or inaccurate items and develop strategies to dispute or resolve them.
Credit Repair Process Management:

Use Credit Repair Cloud to manage client accounts, track disputes, and monitor progress.
Communicate effectively with clients to keep them updated on their credit repair status.
Draft and send dispute letters to credit bureaus and creditors.
Regulatory Compliance:

Stay informed and compliant with key regulations, such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and guidelines established by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
Follow BBB standards and ethical guidelines for client relations and business practices.
Ensure proper handling of clients’ data in accordance with LexisNexis standards.
Management of Third-Party Data Providers:

Understand and manage reports from third-party services such as Sage Screen, Innovus, and other similar services.
Guide clients in freezing or securing their credit information with third-party sites to protect from unauthorized access or errors.
Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service to clients by answering inquiries, educating on credit repair, and resolving issues related to their credit scores and reports.
Offer tailored advice for improving and maintaining healthy credit post-repair.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in the credit repair industry or a related field.
Familiarity with Credit Repair Cloud or similar credit repair software.
Knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) guidelines, and Better Business Bureau (BBB) standards.
Understanding of LexisNexis data, third-party sites like Sage Screen and Innovus, and the ability to navigate these tools for credit repair purposes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
Ability to explain complex credit concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or training in credit repair, financial counseling, or consumer protection.
Experience with credit repair dispute strategies and tools.
