Controller, Financial Analyst, Budget Analyst

Our company, established in 2017, manages nine dental practices and is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented financial professional to join our team remotely. This role is essential to support our growing business by providing accurate financial insights, managing budgets, and ensuring sound financial control. While we currently have a CPA and a bookkeeper, we are looking for someone to take on a leadership role in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budget management, and controllership, with a proactive approach to improving financial processes and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

Controllership:

Oversee financial reporting and ensure the accuracy of financial statements and accounting records for all dental practices.

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, working closely with the CPA and bookkeeper.

Coordinate with external auditors and assist with tax filings and compliance.

Budget Management:

Develop, manage, and track operating budgets for each dental practice.

Collaborate with practice managers and department heads to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Analyze budget variances and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.

Financial Analysis:

Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic business decisions, including expansion opportunities and operational improvements.

Create financial models and forecasts to guide business planning and growth strategies.

Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, presenting detailed reports and recommendations to leadership.
