Content Writer & SEO Assistant

We are a growing UK-based brand looking for a talented and reliable Content Writer & SEO Assistant to help us expand our digital presence. Our mission is to create high-quality, engaging content that drives traffic and supports our SEO goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Write engaging, well-researched blog posts, articles, and website content
Optimise content using on-page SEO best practices (headings, internal linking, keywords, etc.)
Conduct keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, or Google Keyword Planner
Assist in planning and executing content calendars
Help with basic backlink outreach and relationship building
Update and repurpose older blog content to improve rankings
Create SEO-optimised meta titles and descriptions
Perform basic competitor and SERP analysis

Requirements:
Excellent written English (UK English preferred)
Strong research and writing skills
Basic understanding of SEO (on-page and off-page)
Experience with Shopify, WordPress or similar CMS platforms
Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Google Search Console)
Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
Reliable, honest, and responsive
Bonus Skills (Not Required but Preferred):
Experience in e-commerce
Canva or basic design experience
Knowledge of content marketing strategies
Familiarity with tools like Grammarly, Trello, or Notion
