We’re a small digital marketing agency with a steady client base and big growth goals. We're looking for a highly detail-oriented, experienced Content & SEO Specialist who can work independently, move quickly, and take ownership of their work. This is a role for someone who already knows what they’re doing and thrives in a low-pressure, high-accountability environment.
Who We're Looking For:
You know how to take a project from idea to execution without needing to be micromanaged. You’re comfortable managing your own time, hitting deadlines, and delivering high-quality work consistently. You’re quick to learn and fast to act—especially when it comes to picking up new client projects and keeping content moving.
Important: I’m extremely easygoing and not a micromanager. If you need someone to constantly check in, follow up, or give you step-by-step instructions, this is not the right fit. I need someone who can take a direction once and run with it.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in SEO, content writing/editing, and WordPress
Experience building out page and blog post content from scratch
Skilled in keyword research and writing clear, structured SEO briefs
Strong WordPress experience for formatting, styling, and publishing
Able to use AI tools to generate draft content, then humanize and polish it for tone, clarity, and SEO value
Excellent with time management — you’ll be expected to track your time carefully
Familiar with project management concepts and can stay organized across multiple client workflows
A fast learner who can understand client needs and adapt quickly
Extremely detail-oriented — you take pride in clean, optimized, accurate work
Reliable and self-sufficient — you meet deadlines, communicate clearly, and don’t need hand-holding
What You’ll Be Doing:
Completing content and SEO tasks based on pre-developed client strategies
Creating and formatting blog posts and service pages in WordPress
Performing keyword research and creating SEO briefs
Using AI-generated content as a starting point and editing to final publish-ready content
Supporting the execution of content deliverables across multiple clients
Time Commitment:
Approx. 10 hours/week to start (could grow)
Contractor role (1099), remote
Flexible hours, but deadlines are key
Time is tracked and monitored for accountability
