Content Researcher – Southwest Florida Events

looking for a detail-oriented and reliable freelancer to gather and compile a comprehensive list of exciting events and activities happening in Southwest Florida. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in research, and have an eye for content that will engage our audience.

Responsibilities:

Research: Identify and compile a list of upcoming events, festivals, activities, and attractions in Southwest Florida (Glades, Lee, Hendry, Collier, Monroe).

Content Creation: Summarize event details, including dates, locations, times, and highlights.
Curate Relevant Content: Focus on a mix of local festivals, concerts, outdoor adventures, family-friendly activities, food and drink events, and more. I have a Haitian channel, find it, and place the name of the channel in the subject line.
Provide Recommendations: Suggest events that would best fit our channel's audience and mission.

Strong research skills with the ability to identify reliable sources for event information.
Excellent communication and writing skills to summarize event details clearly and concisely.
Attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and proactively.

Preferred Skills:
