Job Description: Content Editor and Video Uploader for Niche News Website
We are seeking a passionate individual with a deep interest in news and American politics to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who loves keeping up with current events, has a knack for writing catchy and engaging English headlines, and enjoys basic video editing and uploading. Responsibilities:
Upload and manage video content for our niche news website.
Perform basic video editing to ensure quality and consistency.
Write attention-grabbing headlines that drive engagement and traffic.
Research trending topics in American politics and curate relevant content.
Assist with content scheduling to maintain a steady flow of updates.
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute creative content ideas.
Qualifications:
Passion for news and American politics.
Excellent English writing skills, especially for crafting compelling headlines.
Basic video editing skills (experience with tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
Experience in uploading and managing content on websites (WordPress or similar platforms is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Work hours: 9am to 5pm EST
Full time, Monday through Friday.
